In order to create a safe space for our children and staff, Educare employs rigorous health and safety procedures. Some of these procedures include:
- Routine cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting
- Complete indoor and outdoor health and safety checklists
- First aid kits accessible to staff and out of reach of children
- Routine oral hygiene activities
- Conducting emergency and evacuation drills
- Staff trained in health and safety practices including CPR and First Aid
- Follow safe sleep practices
- AED on site
- Sinks and toilets at child level to support independence
- Access to classrooms limited to staff and family members only
